

Assoc. Prof. John Briere, PhD is a highly acclaimed and much sought after speaker given his extensive skill, clinical experience and research. He is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Psychology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, and Director of the Psychological Trauma Program at LAC-USC Medical Center. He lectures internationally on trauma and mindfulness, and serves on the Transforming Trauma Leadership Council at the Garrison Institute, a retreat-based center that brings a contemplative dimension to key social change fields, including caregiving, teaching and environmental advocacy.
