For security reasons at ALL
VENUES it is essential
that delegates wear their name badge AT ALL TIMES – this
includes name badge display in sessions and catering
breaks. Delegates not wearing their name badge will
not be permitted entry until it is displayed. Not wearing
your badge may mean you are delayed in attending the
conference.
Banking and Credit Cards
24-hour ATMs
are located throughout the city, suburbs and regional
areas. Most major banks are open weekdays from 9.30am
- 4.00pm and close on Fridays at 5.00pm. Major credit
cards are accepted at most facilities.

There are 130 free car spaces
onsite at Leonda and free parking is also available
at the church opposite. Parking is available along Yarra
Boulevard too. From the city you can take a tram from
Flinders St catch Tram 70 route to Wattle Park or 75
route to Vermont South and disembark at Stop 19 outside
Leonda. Also, a train can be taken from Flinders Street
Station. Take the Lilydale or Belgrave line and disembark
at either Hawthorn which is a 10 minute walk to Leonda
or at Burnley if you would like a 15 min walk.

main entrance (entry at corner of Hawkesbury and Darcy

There is ample free parking onsite. The
Centre is 6kms from CBD. Trains can be taken to Toowong
railway station and
then 5 mins in taxi to Bardon Centre. Bus number 375:
alight at Stop 39 at Bardon. Buses leave from Brunswick
St at Wickham Hotel in Fortitude Valley or Adelaide St
in city.

Certificates of Attendance - Collection,
Copies or New Orders
If your certificate is
not in your package, please notify the registration
desk. Requests after the conference for copies or new
orders incur an administration fee of $10.00.
Conference Session Times and Occupational Health
and Safety Regulations
Each session will commence on time - so please ensure
you allow plenty of time to get seated. For Occupational
Health and Safety reasons, standing or sitting on
the floor is not permitted.

Foreign currency exchange
offices are located at international airports. These
typically offer less attractive rates than banks. Money
is worked in decimal currency (dollars and cents).
Many international banks and their agencies have branches
in cities throughout Australia.
Electricity
The current used is 240 volts, AC universal outlets. Universal outlets for
240v or 110v shavers are standard in most hotels. Airports and travel shops
sell an adaptor that you may require.
Goods and Services Tax
A
GST of 10% is charged. International delegates may be

Massage
Qualified massage
professionals may be available for a 10 minute head and
neck massage for a very reasonable fee. Where room allows
full body massages may be booked. Make your booking direct
with the massage service.

Shopping Hours
24-hour
supermarkets, fast food and convenience stores are readily
available. Most shops open between 9.00am - 6.00pm weekdays
with a later close on Fridays at 9.00pm and noon and/or
5.00pm closing on Saturdays. Only major stores tend to
open on Sundays until 5.00pm.
Special Requirements
Provision to notify us of special requirements was made
on your registration form. Should something you forgot
arise, or a request been overlooked, please call in at
the registration desk.
Time
Melbourne operates on Eastern Standard Time (AEST) which is 10 hours ahead
of Greenwich Mean Time (and 11 hours AEDT from the end of October to March).
Transport to Your Hotel
Some
hotels offer a courtesy bus to and from the city's international
airport. Inquire on booking. Information about shuttle
buses and trains from the airports:
- In Melbourne, Tullamarine Airport is
22kms from the central business district ( CBD ). Skybus
operates a shuttle bus service with convenient pick-up
and drop-off at the airport at $ AUD 15.00 one-way and
$24 return for adults. Children are $5 one-way and $10
return. Family tickets cost $50 return. Taxi cabs are
also available costing you about $35.00 one-way depending
on the time of day.
- In Sydney, Mascot Airport is
7 kms from the CBD. KST Airport Shuttle goes to Central
Station connecting with trains and buses out to Parramatta
(approx. 45 mins away). The shuttle costs $12 per person
one-way and $17 return to anywhere in the CBD. Airport:

- In Brisbane, Kingsford-Smith Airport is
17 kms from the CBD. Shuttle Coach Trans goes to the
CBD and Roma Transit Centre for connection with trains
and buses. This costs $9 one-way and $15 return to the
Transit Centre, or $12 one way or $22 return to city
hotel, or you can take a train from the airport for $10

The Delphi Centre is bound by, and
committed to supporting, the National Privacy Principles

The Delphi Centre will collect and store information
you provide in your Registration Form for the purposes
of enabling us to register your attendance at the Conference,

for future planning and development of The Delphi Centre

The information that you provide in the Registration
form and information provided at any other time during
the Conference, including without limitation any feedback
obtained during the Conference, will be used by The Delphi
Centre to offer, provide and continue to improve its
Conferences and other services. Personal details will
not be made available to delegates, trade exhibitors
or others.
As a member of The Delphi Centre's database, on your
behalf, at times the Centre will co-ordinate forwarding
related material provided by other organizations, that
may be of interest to you. At no time will anyone other
than staff at The Delphi Centre and appointed organizers
have direct access to your details. Should you not wish
to receive information about future Professional Development
Training please advise The Delphi Centre in writing.
The Delphi Centre will not otherwise, without your consent,
use or disclose your personal information for any purpose
unless it would reasonably be expected that such purpose
is related to the offer, provision and improvement of
The Delphi Centre conferences or where such purpose is
permitted or required by law.
Liability
In case of industrial
or political disruption, war, invasion or civil war,
hostilities (whether war be declared or not) riot, rebellion
or civil commotion or other activity beyond the control
of the Conference Convenors, the Committee and all associated
persons, accept no responsibility for any damage or loss
