Yuichi Hattori BA, MA - JAPAN

Yuichi Hattori graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a BA (1990) and MA (1992) in psychology. He has worked as a psychology lecturer at Science University of Tokyo since 1994 and also conducts a private practice in Sayama City.

He has assisted as a clinical consultant to NHK, Japanese BBC, to produce a film about dissociative identity disorder. He is also clinical consultant to KHJ Oya-no Kai, the national organization of parents of children with hikikomori (social withdrawal). In addition to his own publications, he has translated material on DID in English into Japanese.

Yuichi has presented his work with DID patients at conferences in Canada and the USA as well as Japan.
