Here are your exciting UPDATES about this conference: TRANSFORMING TRAUMA - Sept 12-14, Melbourne, plus workshops on 11 and 15 Sept.

There has been a great deal of interest in this important conference. Over 700 delegates are already registered. Late registrations can be sent online until Monday 8 September 8.30am or faxed to 03 9417 0899 until Wednesday evening 10 September. These incur an additional $50 fee as do Onsite registrations.

1. CONFERENCE DINNER SPEAKER: Dr Jeffrey Masson, the brilliant author of many books about psychoanalysis, psychiatry and psychology as well as the emotional lives of animals, and renouned for being riveting and highly entertaining, will delight you with his after dinner talk: All My Best Therapists Had 4 Legs...!

- Caroline Brown - The Legacy of Childhood Trauma: The effect of adult attachment and cognitive distortion on psychological adjustment (replaces Naomi Halpern, 4.15pm)

- Ann Petty - Assisting Kinship Carers to Enable Children in Their Care to Deal with Trauma (replaces Naomi Halpern, 4.45pm)

SATURDAY
- Dr Janine Stevenson - Dissociation in Borderline Personality Disorder (replaces Dr Michael Williamson, 2.30pm)

- Dr Georgiana Antoce - Dissociation and Driving Incidents: (replacing Julie Barton)

- Dr Andrew Moskowitz - Dissociative Pathways to Homicide: A proposed typology (replacing Rodney Crofts)

- Special Extended Time - Dr Martin Dorahy - Cases of Dissociative Disorders in a Skeptical Environment: A Report from Northern Ireland (replacing Laurel Downey)

SUNDAY
- Michael Currie now speaking at 3.00pm (was 3.30pm)

- Alexina Baldini - Three Days of Transforming Trauma: An opportunity to reflect on the conference (at 3.30pm, replaces Vivienne Neale and Isobel Lamont)

- Dr Emma Davies - Preventing Child Abuse: Critical, Controversial and Core ssues (replaces Belinda Martinez, 3.00pm)

- Dr Shimson Neikrug - Inadequacy, Shame and Violence: A Spiritual Approach to Conflict Resolution (replaces Vicki J, 3.30pm)

3. ART DISPLAY: This outstanding display is complimentary for delegates. Other interested
colleagues and members of the public may purchase tickets at $12.00 at the door (held in LUMINA at the Grand Hyatt). It is open from 9.00am - 5.00pm, Friday and Saturday, and from 9.00am - 2.30pm Sunday. [WARNING: Some art is graphic and may be contaminating for clients or distressing to people.]

4. YOGA: Complimentary sessions are available for delegates (if you have not already indicated your intention of attending on your registration form, please contact The Meeting Planners - Tel: 03 9417 0888 or Email: enquiries@meetingplanners.com.au). The classes will be held from 6.30am - 8.00am, split in Gym and Bristol on Friday and in Mayfair Ballroom on Saturday and Sunday.

5. REGISTRATION DESK TIMES - COLLECT YOUR PACKET IN PLENTY OF TIME!
To ensure you don't miss out on any part of the conference, please allow ample time to register your arrival and collect your packet as there is a large number of delegates to process. Your NAME BADGE must be WORN FOR ENTRY into all sessions and complimentary functions.

6. VENUE FOR ALL WORKSHOPS: All pre and post-conference workshops will be held at the Grand Hyatt. Some places are still available so don't delay registering.
