INVITATION
Dr Ellert Nijenhuis made a tremendous impact with his keynote and workshop during his first visit to Australia in 2003 at the landmark international conference on attachment and traumatic dissociation in Melbourne. Demand for more of his work brought this conference tour.
Ellert has presented his work on the neuropsychobiology of trauma throughout the world. He is a leading light in the trauma field. Ellert skillfully conveys complexities of trauma dynamics from both a theoretical and clinical perspective.
Moving videotapes of working with clients portray his profound ability to help clients transform intensely challenging issues. They also vividly demonstrate practically to his audience how he combines solid research with humanity in effective clinical interventions.
Ellert has recently been appointed by the Dutch Queen Beatrix, to Knight in the Order of the Dutch Lion. This is a rare and high distinction. He has received it for his continuing outstanding scientific and clinical work in the field of chronic traumatization. This honour reflects the high esteem in which Ellert's work is held.
Ellert is a rare master educator, communicator, therapist and researcher. His understanding and genuine compassion make him an exceptional human being. This training is an opportunity not to be missed.
It is with great pleasure that The Delphi Centre in collaboration with The Cannan Institute and the Trauma and Dissociation Unit, Belmont Hospital , Qld. present Ellert in our continued commitment to provide best practice professional development training.
We look forward to sharing another outstanding conference program with you!
